Danny has an
extraordinary credit of productions including 2 Gold and 2 Platinum albums, 2
Grammy and 6 Grammy nominated recordings, over 40 Chart recordings and 6 motion
picture soundtracks. He has received awards including Best Engineered Album at
the Felix Awards (Canada, 1991); Premier Producer (1993), Premier Engineer
(1993, 1995, 1996) and Nominated Premier Male Vocalist (1987, 1992) at the
Memphis Premier Player Awards of the local chapter of National Association of
Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc. (“NARAS”). He is a past Trustee for National
Board of Trustees and past National Vice President for NARAS, past President of
the Memphis Chapter of NARAS, past member of Engineering Committee, R.I.A.A. and
past Charman, Music Industry Advisory Committee. Danny is on the Adjunct
Faculty at the University of Memphis in the Commercial Music Department and is a
former Staff Engineer for Allen Toussaint, Sea-Saint Recording Studio, New
Orleans, LA. He has appeared on numerous television shows including NBC’s “The
Midnight Special” and performed songs on ABC’s “The Fall Guy”, TV’s “Star
