Jack Rowell is a blue-eyed soul singer with blazing guitar licks to match.  Blues guitar legend, Albert King, once said about Jack, “He is one bad white boy who can flat sing and play the blues!”  He started playing and touring, along with then partner Jimi Jamison of Survivor, at the age of 15 and with The Debuts, signed with Atlantic Records and toured with The Buckinghams, Mitch Ryder and Roy Orbison.  Since then, Jack has worked with, or opened shows for, national artists such as Sam Cooke, Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals, Rufus Thomas, George Jones, Ace Cannon, The Gentrys, Carl Perkins, Delbert McClinton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bowser (Sha Na Na), The Shangralas, The Tokens, Martha Reeves and The Shirelles, L.A. movie and TV comedian, Renaldo Rey, and acclaimed Memphis jazz vocalist, Joyce Cobb.  Recording credits include 2 albums with Ace Cannon (grammy nomination, “Blue Eyes Cryin’ in the Rain” instrumental), The Gentrys (“Keep on Dancin”, “Cinnamon Girl”), Memphis Debuts, Herman Green, Joyce Cobb, Willie Cobbs (wrote Allman Brothers hit, “You Don’t Love Me”), Highwaymen II (Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristoferson, Johnny Cash).  After becoming a Christian, Jack began using his talents for the Lord in Memphis, Tennessee, as worship leader at New Life Fellowship (4 years), in assisting the start of contemporary Saturday night service at Hope Presbyterian Church (1 1/2 years), and as the current music director at Church of the Harvest since 1999.  During his years of music ministry, Jack has been part of the praise band for revivals and special meetings such as “Spirit of Life Revival” with Jerry Savelle and Jesse Duplantis (2 years), Dr. Ed Dufreisne (California), Hilton Sutton, Dr. Leon Von Ryooen (Florida, South Africa), Patrick Andre’ of John Avanzini Ministries (Tulsa), Kirk Pankratz (Founder of Youth America, Oklahoma City), Bob Yandian (Tulsa), Danny Chambers (Oklahoma City, Nashville), Rennie McLean, Ray Hollis (Oklahoma City) and Mike Deasy, which included ministry meetings in the Memphis City Schools and Shelby County Penal Farm.  Jack has a heart to see all musicians, particularly Memphis musicians, saved and serving the Lord with their God-given talents.  Together with his wife, Teri, and award-winning record producer, Danny Jones, Jack has recently released his first gospel CD called “TriplThreT - Memphis Music for Him” for which he wrote or co-wrote all songs and which features the praise band under his direction at Church of the Harvest, Memphis, Tennessee, known as “TriplThreT”.
